Vipavski križ: one of the most charming medieval villages in the area with ancient narrow streets. You can stop at the wine bar Darovi Vipavske to experience a tasting of wines, craft beers or olive oil. They also offer a wide range of local products available for purchase.

Vipava:

• Old Vipava castle: castle overlooking Vipava valley.

• Educational Trail Along the River Vipava: educational, less demanding hike. Along this path the information boards introduce you to the wildlife and flora of the Vipava river from its source to the border of Italy.

Slap: village with many open wine cellars and good winemakers.

Castle Lože: baroque mansion overlooking the Vipava Valley. Not far from the castle you will also find a giant bench, the first in Slovenia.
