Ajdovščina:

• The Roman fortress of Castra in Ajdovščina: one of the fourteen towers of the Roman fortress, upgraded in the Middle Ages.
• Lavrič square – Main square in Ajdovščina.
• Rustjeva hiša: café and bakery.
• Source of the Hubelj river: the highest cave of the river source opens up at 249m above sea level.
• Educational trail by the Hubelj river: nature trail showcasing tree and shrub species.
• Otlica natural window: unique opening in the rock formed by tectonic shifts and erosion.
• Ajdovska tržnica: marketplace with local products (every thursday and saturday from 7.00 – 12.00)

Vipavski križ: one of the most charming medieval villages in the area with ancient narrow streets. You can stop at the wine bar Darovi Vipavske to experience a tasting of wines, craft beers or olive oil. They also offer a wide range of local products available for purchase.

Vipava:

• Old Vipava castle: castle overlooking Vipava valley.
• Lanthieri Mansion: baroque mansion on the main square.
• Učna pot ob reki Vipavi: educational, less demanding hike. Along this path the information boards introduce you to the wildlife and flora of the Vipava river from its source to the border of Italy.
• Zemono manor house: renaissance villa.
• Source of the Vipava River: the only delta spring in Europe.

Goče: the stone village, an architectural gem.

Slap: village with many open wine cellars and good winemakers.

Castle Lože: baroque mansion overlooking the Vipava Valley. Not far from the castle you will also find a giant bench, the first in Slovenia.
